The Frostburg Board of Elections meets on an as-needed in the months preceding and immediately following the elections. Municipal elections take place every even numbered year on the first Tuesday of June.

Responsibilities
The Frostburg Board of Elections is an appointed board established under the City Charter and charged with implementing the City's municipal elections. They oversee the election process, as set forth in the City Code under the provisions of the Annotated Code of Maryland. The City Administrator serves as staff to the Board.
