City Council

The Frostburg Mayor and City Council members are elected to serve a two-year term.  The City operates under a commission form of government, in which each Commissioner is responsible for their respective department(s). The Mayor is the head of the government and presides over Council meetings.  The Mayor ensures ordinances of the City are faithfully executed and shall exercise general supervision over the administrative branch and staff of the City government.

The Mayor and Council abide by Meeting Rules & Regulations, updated in October 2019.
