Grants & Projects

The City frequently seeks grant opportunities to improve the community and reduce direct costs to the City's residents.  In the last 10 years, over $20 million in grant funds have been obtained for various projects within the City.  Some typical projects funded wholly or in part by grants include Combined Sewer Overflow separation projects, downtown building improvement grants, Maryland Smart Energy Community projects, and various Parks and Recreation improvements.
