Digital Welcome Sign

In 2024, the City of Frostburg updated the welcome sign at the intersection of Routes 40 and 36. The previous sign was installed in the 1980s by the Frostburg Ministerium, a group of local church leaders. Recognizing the need for updated signage, especially after the existing sign had been damaged by a fallen limb in recent years, the City offered to replace the sign using American Rescue Plan Act funds. Each church and fraternal organization that was represented on the previous sign was offered an advertising space on the new sign free of charge.
