Pirates Ahoy

Pirates Ahoy is a pirate-themed kids event sponsored by the Frostburg State University Children's Literature Center (CLC), supported by the Frostburg Parks & Recreation Department, and held each summer on the first Wednesday after July 4th.  Children participate in a variety pirate themed games and activities, including a treasure hunt and costume contest.  The Children's Literature Center also selects a pirate themed children's book each year and hosts the book's author/illustrator at the event for a presentation.
