ROAD SALT ENCLOSURE REPLACEMENT
BBA PROJECT NO. 2022105
Separate sealed bids for improvements to the salt enclosure facility will be received by the City of Frostburg at Bennett Brewer & Associates, LLC, 23 East Main Street, Suite 200, Frostburg, Maryland 21532, until 2:00 P.M., local time, Wednesday, April 3, 2024.
The project includes demolition of concrete foundation and asphalt paving, construction of a new wood frame and concrete salt storage enclosure with concrete paving, drainage, and other miscellaneous work associated with construction.
Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained at Bennett Brewer and Associates, LLC, 23 East Main Street, Suite 200, Frostburg, Maryland 21532 upon payment of $100.00 for each set which is non-refundable. Checks shall be made payable to Bennett, Brewer and Associates, LLC.
Each bid must be submitted in the Contract Documents and Specifications Booklet on the bid form, and the entire Contract Documents and Specifications Booklet enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the City of Frostburg and clearly marked “CITY OF FROSTBURG – ROAD SALT ENCLOSURE REPLACEMENT” on the outside and accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid and a completed bid package. The successful bidder will be required to be bonded to the Owner to the sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the proposal.

Contractor’s shall comply with Executive Order 11246.
Bids will only be accepted from a firm purchasing Contract Documents directly from the Engineer.
A Pre-bid Conference will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 10:00 A.M., local time, at the project site.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities as the interest of the Owner may require.
